Chivalry is not dead…it just goes unnoticed.
We have decided to take the side of men who try to show they care, but all they do simply goes unnoticed.
For the 60 second video we will be showing a couple going out on a date. During this date the PSA will show several instances where the man attempts to be kind courteous respectful by opening doors, complimenting, buying flowers, etc…and all those things will go unnoticed. His patience will be wearing thin by the end of the date and will refuse the offer given by the girl to go out a second time. Across the screen after he gives his refusal will say…Chivalry is not dead…it just goes unnoticed.
This 60 second clip will be broken down into 6 different scenes. The first five will show his attempts to be chivalrous, but all going unnoticed. The sixth scene will be escorting her to the door where she asks “hey that was really fun, we should go out again sometime.” In response the guy will say “no thanks toots.” The final scene will be our call to action “Chivalry is not dead…it just goes unnoticed”.
-Scene 1: He calls the girl but gets her voicemail and leaves a message. She texts a single word, “sure”.
Our radio spot will be more or less the same idea but instead of showing having the audio of the scenes that are shown in the television sequence, we will have a very masculine narrator voice asking if the audience has experience a few of the situations. He will say something like “Men have you ever called a girl before a date, left a message then received a one word text reply.”
